The challenge was to design a cover that would depict the winter season. It should stand out on bookstore shelves and appeal to puzzle enthusiasts. The book needed to be full-sized and suitable for people from beginner to expert level, with a large print design for ease of use.

Solution

To achieve my goal, I designed a cover that prominently displays the number of puzzles to emphasize its value to potential buyers. I prioritized a user-friendly design with large print, making it easier to read and appealing to older adults or those with visual impairments.

To capture attention and evoke positive emotions, I used bright and engaging colors to create an exciting and fun aesthetic. This helps the product stand out on store shelves or online marketplaces and boosts its appeal and visibility in a crowded marketplace. I incorporated frosty snowflakes and a bright blue color with complimentary gold and yellow for a seasonal feeling, as the book would be on sale during the winter season.
