Take a Break Adult Activity Puzzle Book is a collection of engaging and challenging puzzles designed for adults. The book offers a variety of puzzles, including crosswords, sudoku, word searches, and more, providing a fun and stimulating way to unwind and relax.

Challenge

The challenge was to design a cover that would be sold during the new year and accurately depict the current season. It needed to catch the eye of puzzle enthusiasts browsing bookstore shelves while also being suitable for individuals at all skill levels, from beginners to experts. Additionally, the book had to be full-sized and feature a large print design for easy readability.

Solution

To achieve my goal, I designed a cover that prominently displays the number of puzzles included in the book to emphasize its value to potential buyers. Additionally, I prioritized a user-friendly design by utilizing a large print format that would cater to this demographic.

To capture attention and evoke positive emotions, I selected bright and engaging colors for the cover. The exciting and fun aesthetic aims to increase interest and engagement with the product, making it stand out on store shelves or online marketplaces and ultimately boosting its appeal and visibility in a crowded marketplace. Since the book would be on sale at the beginning of the year, I incorporated fireworks into the design to create the feeling of a New Year celebration.
